We all know how lonely a job advising a student publication can be. NESPA looks to help combat that by growing a community of publication advisers across New England.

And one of the first steps is to be in the same place at the same time to talk about our common challenges.

We would love to have you join us in about a month at the UMass-Lowell ETIC Atrium for our winter Advisers Retreat. The event will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1.

You can expect:

–To meet and connect with other publication advisers from across New England.

— To hear from your colleagues about the challenges they face at their schools and to participate in discussion protocols that help find solutions.

— To learn about journalism skills that participants say they want to know more about.

— To be able to add your ideas for what you would like to address during the day. **After you complete payment via the link below, you will be sent a form to share your information and ideas.

And it’s only $10 if you register early! That includes coffee and pastries, a full lunch and afternoon refreshments, not to mention all the great content.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO ATTEND! You do not need to be a NESPA member to attend the retreat.
